SciFi and Fantasy Art Apple Blossom Fairy by Meike de Nooy

Well, William (Li) suggested to me I try this paper and mess around with it 'cuase I'd probably like it.. and though it took me a while to get round to it, I just spent the last 3 hours outside in the sun and drew this ;) Good thinking Will! It was fun and think there'll be more of this soon! I believe the rest of the picture speaks for itself!!!
Spring be in the air :)

You captured the apple blossoms very well, and the little fae on top is lovely With her frail wings she could be easily mistaken for an apple blossem herself. Looks like an interesting technique! Did you use normal pencils or some kind of oil pastels or the like ? This one does look like Spring indeed. Have a nice bright and sunny Spring day Meike de Nooy replies: "Fairies are never very obvious so I tried to hide her a bit! The technique is fair(l)y easy and I used Karisma colour pencils. I think derwent orprismacolour or uhh eurocolour will all be fine as well (though don't poin me down on that! "
2 Apr 2004	T. Tyndell	Loading... I almost missed the little fae at the top! Wonderful composition. Meike de Nooy replies: "I'm glad she doesn;t stand out too much, I tried to interwieve her in the picture. It's not like you see fairies daily, you have to search for them!"

Glad you like my work though, you shoudl try this techniuque it's rather easy if I may say so! I'll go have a look at your work in a sec! En een puntje aan zuigen?! Daar had ik echt nog nooit van gehoord. Maar kan wel ongeveer raden wat je bedoelt LOL "
