SciFi and Fantasy Art: Leila

So there were more people on this earth. Where did they come from? Why did they hide? Didi they feel, just like her? They seemed very similar but their presence made her want to run back to the quiet and peace of the woods. Doon however these people would have to be dealt with, soon she would approach them. For now she decided to avoid and observe these people. So much like her, yet so different.

A charcater design after Lim... this one would be for me. My fantasy charcter for a potential RPG game.. just a sketch I did in my notebook and took forever to get the lines out!

I like her though, I think she is part of me, or part of what I woud like to be more like... a person close to nature, who can understand people well, maybe heeling hands or something/knowledge of herbs.. and a hawk or cat familiar.

15 Feb 2006	Annika Secker	Loading... Oh, this one is wonderful! The pose is exactly right and the bird is beautiful. Her legs are a little on the short side, but maybe they're supposed to. Meike de Nooy replies: "Hey Anna, thanks voor je compliment! I had lots of fun drawing it, too bad I used ink, I might have changed the legs.. but then, some people just have short legs! "
17 Feb 2006	Anna	Loading... Wow, this is really incredible, i love the colour and the way you seem to have captured her entire being in the pose. I've been looking through ur work, I'm not an expert or anything, but it's great, u are very talented.
27 Feb 2006	Joost de Nooy	Loading... eej sis...nice drawing...like the colouring indeed!! almost looks supernatural/ computermade bird well done as well...from scratch??? one thing though...check the spelling in the text....think you mistyped an "s" as a "d" and some other minor mistakes.... well done though!! could be well used for an RPG indeed! Meike de Nooy replies: "EEj!!! Nope, all from scratch (and th computer only helped me take the lines out (although helped may be a big word!) and arghghg bleh spelling.. who need spelling?! I'm in the USA "
