| 3 Aug 2003 | Marta Leonhardt | Hey, this is beautiful! I hope she can escape somehow from that "Life?".. Wonderful colours! Meike de Nooy replies: "Funny, I've always thought of it as a "he" but no.. I don't think it's possible to escape life..." | |
| 21 Dec 2003 | Markku Immonen | You see a lot of androids around here, but your technique is unique and captivating. Meike de Nooy replies: "To tell you hounestly.. this one is really bothering me! It is still not finished, and I really don't feel like finishing it but I really need to! Glad you like it though! It has been in my mind for a long time before I could finally realease it on paper!" | |
| 11 Feb 2004 | Jolinda te Pas | hmm, okay, you didn't add it just recently.. I was not really paying attention to the dates on the other comments while posting above message Meike de Nooy replies: "It used to be in my Zone47 gallery!" | |
| 11 Feb 2004 | Jolinda te Pas | Wow! I haven't seen this one before, I suppose you added it just recently? It looks very good! Great colors. The drawing looks very 'powerfull', probably because of the colors. *impressed* Meike de Nooy replies: "YAY!!! I'm glad you find it a strong image. I tried, and it had been in my head for a while, and sometimes that's where the image has to stay. But this one actually came out! Almost as I wanted it... (I'm glad to have my zone and loth gallery in one; the difference was hardly noticeable!)" | |
| 5 Mar 2004 | Ya lil bro | This is really my favorite picture! Love how you combined the two total opposite things...The android and the flowers....Well done! Meike de Nooy replies: "I never knew you liked it so mutch... maybe I should finish it off for you then, at least I have a good reason then..." | |

| 11 May 2004 | Jay W.B. Hildybrant | Well now I definately dont see worms here, just a fantastic piece of art with great boldness. The bright white of the outline contrasts nicely with the deep wine red of the flowers. It provides the piece with depth and shape. Nice first oil painting Meike. Meike de Nooy replies: "Thanyou Jay! I just wish I had finished it, but I don;pt think I'll ever return to this piece! Glad the contrast is noted... that was my aim as well as contrating the meaning of nature vs tecnique." | |
| 7 Jun 2004 | Ylva | I so like the style in this piece! It's a bit different from what I mostly see. The flowers are very well made too Meike de Nooy replies: "Thanks! I found the flowers rather hard to do!" | |
| 9 Sep 2004 | Shannon 'Shan-chan' Nunez | OOOoohhhh....The person is a roboty guy, and the flowers are all pretty! Its machine meets mother earth! yaay! This is reeeeally good for your first oil drawing, painting...whatever it is. I have like.....0 patience, usually ^_-- Meike de Nooy replies: "Patience is a glorious veirtue which I am also still trying to tech myself... it;s hard when it comes to drawing, aspecially cause you usually want to start with the fun part but starting out with things like backgrounds and such usually make it better in the end!" | |
| 27 Jul 2006 | Wendy f. | Wow this is beautiful! Really interesting and original. Inspiring | |
